Suzlon Share Price Target 2025 – Investec

On 21 Feb 2025, Investec has initiated coverage on Suzlon Energy and given a ‘Buy’ rating with a price target of Rs 70 per share, which is 30% higher than the last closing price. Investec says Suzlon is in a good position to take full advantage of the growth in the wind energy sector, as its order book has reached an all-time high of 5.5 GW, which will be executed in the next 18-24 months. The company increased its execution to 447 MW in Q3FY25, which was possible due to its 4.5 GW manufacturing capacity and a strong EBITDA margin of 16.8%. Suzlon is a net-cash company with strong RoE and RoCE, which is sustained due to its growing order pipeline, optimized supply chain, and yearly capex of Rs 300-400 crore. The company is also benefiting from a duopoly in the EPC market and has maintained a market share of over 30%.

Investec estimates that Suzlon revenue will grow at a CAGR of 55% and net profit at a CAGR of 66% between FY24-27. RoE is also expected to increase from 28.5% to 32% in the same period. The company has a diversified customer base, with 58% from the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment, 21% from PSUs, and 81% of orders being non-EPC. The stock has corrected 16% in the first two months of 2025, but analysts still see it as a strong pick. Out of seven analysts covering the stock, five have given a “Buy” rating, which suggests strong growth potential in the long term.
